2026 Electric Vehicle Expo

Locals EV Expo

Saturday 25 July 2026

Berowra Tavern Carpark 1 -3pm

What’s it like owning an EV ??

Thinking of purchasing an EV but unsure of makes, models, range, charging, and many more questions.

BSC is holding an EV Expo so you can talk to Locals about the positive and negative aspects of life with an EV.  Websites will give you information on a vehicle, but this expo is so you can get honest answers to ownership issues from people you may know.

No salespersons allowed.

  • We are hoping to have a range of Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) and Hybrids to show.
  • Keep the date free.  Coffee, meals and refreshments available at the Berowra Tavern.
  • If you own an EV or know someone who has an EV and is willing to give up a few hours talking about their car then get them to call Mark 0432 987 901

Hard Rubbish clean up is coming – Don’t let it go to landfill

WHIRL electronics recycling

Don’t put your old electrical equipment out on the street! Save it from ending up with other rubbish in landfill. Give those old appliances a second life by being Repaired, Reused or Recycled.

It’s on again! Following five successful community recycling events over three years, the BSC are hosting another event in conjunction with Whirl Recycling. Just in time for council clean-up! Over 4 tonnes of material has been recycled! Well done Berowra.

Choose one of our 3 times (below) to drop off your unwanted electronics, cables, computers, laptops, power tools, phones, transistors, watches, X-rays & photo negatives, and fairy lights. Nothing goes to landfill.

Unfortunately we cannot take any small appliances this time.

No TVs, fridges, oil heaters or printers.
No plastic bags please.

For a full list of what we can accept, see the Whirl website or send an inquiry to Whirl by phone (call or text) 0480616800, email support@whirlrecycling.com or on their Facebook page.

Drop off to 32 Currawong Rd, Berowra Heights in one of these three timeslots:
Fri 5 Dec: 2pm – 5pm
Sat 6 Dec: 10am – 1pm
Sun 7 Dec 1pm – 5pm
